Need help?Is insurance really mandatory for Georgia?
Yes. From January 1, 2026 every foreign visitor must carry medical insurance meeting the legal minimum of 30,000 GEL for the length of their stay. Every ASSURA tier will meet it.
What do I show at the border?
The PDF policy from a licensed Georgian insurer — printed or on your phone. It's in English, and the electronic version is accepted.
How are the price and coverage determined?
The price is calculated from the travel dates and traveller details. The exact amount and applicable Imedi L policy terms are shown before you submit or pay.
What happens after I submit an application?
We check the details and show the next available step. For card payment, CRM creates the order and supplies a secure payment link when one is available for that order.
Can I buy after I have already arrived?
Yes, any time — coverage will start the next day at 00:00. Buying before the trip covers you from the moment you land.
